Diesel Farm Equipment Technician

We are looking for a Diesel Farm Equipment Technician who looks forward, every day, to performing diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on tractors and other agricultural equipment.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Routine servicing & overhauling farm machinery
  • Detecting technical malfunctions
  • Replacing parts and appropriately reassembling
  • Communicating repair needs and recommendations to customer
  • Checking electrical systems and transmission parts and ensuring the proper operation
  • Place necessary orders to complete repairs
  • In-the-shop work, along with some field travel
  • Attending training's/schooling offered to keep current knowledge

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 3-5 years of experience working as a diesel mechanic and/or related schooling
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Good typing skills recommended, but not required
  • Willingness to take online training courses and to occasionally travel for training
  • Must have your own tools
